Na liście życzeń miłośników tej serii były m. in. nowy obiektyw, który posiadałby lepsze własności optyczne oraz szeroki kąt z prawdziwego zdarzenia, bardziej dopracowany autofokus, nowa matryca, gorąca stopka, możliwość zapisu zdjęć w formacie RAW.Jakie zmiany w stosunku do poprzednika faktycznie zaoferował nam Canon? Po pierwsze w S5 IS "bije nowe serce". Wyposażono go w procesor obrazu DIGIC III (S3 IS wyposażony był w procesor DIGIC II). Wraz z nim aparat wzbogacił się o funkcję rozpoznawania twarzy oraz pojawiła się czułość 1600 ISO. Zwiększono rozdzielczość matrycy, która w najnowszym modelu posiada 8 milionów pikseli (6 megapikseli w S3 IS). Dodano również gorącą stopkę, która umożliwia podpięcie zewnętrznych lamp błyskowych Speedlite EX Canona. Obudowę poddane delikatnemu liftingowi, a związanemu głównie z pojawieniem się ekranu LCD o przekątnej 2. 5 cala.

Выбирал между SX210 и SX20 IS, выбрал в пользу большего))
Появился вопрос: При неполном повороте рычажка зума - зуммирование медленное, при полном быстрое. При медленном до крайнего положения доходит за 4 сек, при быстром за 2 сек (примерно). На видео было так же, а стало 7 и 4 секунды соответственно. Где можно изменить этот параметр? Хотя медленнее и плавнее стало, но всё-же?
Хоть и я вырос с данной техники, скажу что это офигительный аппарат!!! был когда то владельцем 30-го!)))

Все перечисленные недостатки для многих людей являются именно достатками. А недостаток тут только один - слабая краска, это потому, что модель в руках китайская, у меня краска другая. Уже 19 год, а она как будто из магазина. А зелёный огонёк никакого отношения к фокусу не имеет. Это луч для предотвращения красных глаз, очень важный достаток камеры!
добрый день) Скажите,вы случайно не знаете,как на этом аппарате убрать ограничение во времени видео съемки?где в настройках копаться?я искала,но безуспешно(( я не специалист. У меня снимает 23 минуты с хвостиком,а потом просто экран тухнет и выключается съемка, вне зависимости от того привожу я в действие другие функции в это время или нет ... т.е. в спящем или нет режиме,видео выключается и чтоб продолжить видео(но это уже будет новое видео)нужно нажать снова на кнопку "снимать" :( поэтому приходится потом на программе соединять чтоб сделать единым видео и порой разница перехода очень заметна,что сильно огорчает
